Change

Well, I think it has certainly been long enough since I last typed a blog entry. I am going to do my best to get back to it as often as possible. Starting in September, I am hoping to have some changes coming, including a new website, with online ordering capabilities, and many new products for everyone to check out. Over the last few years, Hillary Odom Photography has grown more than I could have ever imagined, and so it's time to move forward! I hope everyone "likes" us on Facebook, and checks often, because as soon as everything is in place there will me some special dates, promotions, and even some contests...so you will certainly want to stay tuned. I am looking forward to seeing you and your beautiful families in the upcoming months as we near the holidays!

Marcie Wingo is the very proud mom of her cutie pie Madelyn. She has a 10x10 Birthday Bash collage displayed on her desk, not to mention the other ADORABLE portraits we captured over the last year, and it looks great! Marcie and Madelyn are always loads of fun. I can always count on the two of them to brighten my day with loads of laughs and giggles. Thank you, Marcie, for sharing with me!

Check It Out!

Wow, its amazing how fast we have jumped into 2009! We have an exciting line up for the year and I know it's going to be great! To start the year off, Hillary Odom Photography will be on display at the Babypalooza 2009! Babypalooza will be held Saturday, January 31, 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. at the Doubletree Hotel in the Grand Ballroom, 2651 Perimeter Parkway. This event is for for pregnant moms and their guests featuring education, entertainment and everything baby. The first 100 guests will recieve a gift bag. There is no admission for the event and I hop e to see all of you there! Babypalooza is sponsored by Xytex Cord Blood Bank, Babies ‘R' Us and 104.3 WBBQ. We will be having a drawing for a free canvas and a free handbag, so be sure you stop by...and bring a friend!

Sofia Grace Odom

Sofia Grace Odom was born on August 26th. She is absolutely beautiful! She weighed 8 lbs 6 oz, and was 20 1/4 inches long. We are all doing well, she is very healthy and I have bounced back much quicker than I expected. I did have a CSection, but it all went perfectly. Mackenzie is loving being a big sister, but I cant say we haven't seen a green monster from tome to time, I guess after being the Queen B for 8 years, she is entitled to a little jealousy! But, with all of that said she is a great 2nd mommy!

The Studio is back in full swing and we are booking up FAST! Its not too early to get your holiday sessions scheduled and in the next week I will be posting some new specials for the fall season!

The Time Has Come!

Well, we are in the final countdown! Sofia Grace is scheduled to be here on Tuesday, August 26th and I am READY! The studio will be closed from this afternoon (Friday 8-22) until mid September. I will be out all of next week, but if you are needing to pick up portraits, or would like to book sessions please do not hesitate to call and leave a message, and I or one of my assistants will get back to you asap! We have had a great week here at the studio and I am so grateful to everyone for crazy appointment times and awesome response to everything! I have tried hard to get everyone worked in and I can't believe how smoothly it went! Thanks again for all of your prayers and kindness and I can't wait for the world to meet my new addition!

The Date is Set....

Well, its finally set....I am scheduled to have a C-Section on August 26th! I am trying my best to make arrangements for everyone to be scheduled in a timely manner for their appointments, and if you need an appointment and I have not contacted you then please do not hesitate to email or call me! My plan is for the studio to be closed for sessions from the 25th of August through the 15th of September. I will however be scheduling future appointments and taking/completing orders during this time. Once again, thank you all for your continued supp rt and I hope I can make this transition smooth for everyone! Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.
